The positive or negative energy you send someone's way, consciously or not, can have astronomical impact. Bitterness from a morning roomate may taint your next interaction. A brief smile and genuine interest can get someone out of a slump. On this lifelong roller coaster each of us ride, the ups can be so high, and the lows depressingly far down, yet the amazing part about the inescapable universal moment is that it keeps on going and changing.
Hanging on to your memory of an event, however recent or far past, can stimulate an illusion of fear. The thought "If only I would have done this differently..." can torment even the most serene people. But the past was what it was, the future will be whatever it will, and now simply is. To be equals free. Flow with the way of life, because no matter how hard you try to alter or control it, life/God/the flow will have its way.
I base all of me and my thoughts off what I experience: see, feel, am aware of, not what someone else has told me to accept as truth.
Look to every moment in every day and, if open, you will see the truth. Don't take it from me, everything I say- doubt, question, test it with what you experience. The divine is not some abstract theory or statue, some set of laws or manmade construct, it is the indescribable, coincidental, and intuitively felt connected flow.
I see God in smiles, "wow"s, bright eyes, and cool air, and why would I give this apparent yet verbally elusive mystery a name? We need a word for life which does not segregate into gender. He or she, where is between, genderless life, pure energy? Perhaps silence is the word for it.
Our culture cultivates compartmentalization. We can call it the Conformist Compartmentality. Be wary not to point fingers though, Yin and Yang teach us that both forces are necessary and unified. To say 'them' versus 'us' would be to fall into the exact same seperation trap. As nice as it sounds and as challenging as it is to live by, I will conclude today with a Bob Marley lyric: "Judge not, before you judge yourself."
