The Yeoman by Kidd_Moses Lyrics
The task I was assigned in class was to choose one of the pilgrims described in "The Prologue" of The Canterbury Tales. I had to deliver a speech describing myself to the other pilgrims in the group. The speech should reflect the character as the narrator presents him or her, but I am able to add my own touch to demonstrate how I view myself.
[Verse 1: Kidd Moses]
The Yeoman, still a kidd though, the person to move generously when you walk past him, but trains a common rapper all day and he don't even have to ask of you. They respect him on a mellow level, always full of giggles- but always attract the one's that secretly want to fiddle. Unknown pharaoh trained to keep minds' at they level. When he prays it's not even to the opposite of the devil, he walks to the end of the cabin and raise metal, on the low- he don't like when people watch him breath, type to sit back in the cut aimed at the gut while we watch you leave; bag full of goodies- you was caught when you had to sneeze, but Kidd always let them go just to keep the peace. An interest over a decent fee, hmm, when the music unleashed the heat- he came over by the rest of PHC and this is what he said," Ima hundred and something ounces of pure energy, walking around this world just to train how to be friendly, supernatural enemy- Ironic ain't I, showing love to the one's with a need to steal the paintings, I got an axe man and my dogs, so if you need protection, we can turn an election into parliament-with a green hood, rapping to my own echo like its all good- a poor janitor, who's birthday match the age of his demeanor, and its funny when one tries to set the rule of sovereignty, but people do what they want, including he- it seems authority brings out the worst in thee, too many details, like those double-entry journals, learned about it with those veteran soldiers, in a college near London, where my tuition was barely funded, and I noticed the misses in here watched for my approval after making apprehensive movement with their boyfriends who looked prudent, for the moment; please don't dwell upon it, its funny that you admire one who shields his secrets rather than show off upfront. I could be anyone in this world, working for fun, a spy for the other countries to a man worth no more than dung. Don't boast for me or for her, because if she's quick to impress, then she's not worth the fur. Try not to trust me to hold your seat, my mind's a blur. I see all of you whispering to your fellow few, I bet your speaking in verses to get back at me; told you I wont even have to ask of thee."
