Ireland Skies by KVN FX Lyrics
(Intro/pre-chorus)
Take me back with that beat Jake
Ireland, summer, 2015
(Chorus)
Green grass, blue skies
No stress, clouds white
Green grass, blue skies
No stress, clouds white
Ireland skies oh yea
Ireland skies oh yea
Ireland skies oh yea
Ireland skies oh yea
Ireland skies oh yea
Ireland skies oh yea
Hold up
(Verse 1)
Things change drastically, frantically
And sometimes the world flips your notions around
What used to mean up, suddenly means down
When you were here things were sweeter, like Peter
Pan, no fear, no care like never land
Now it's all gray and I'm searching for the light
Lamenting for days over such a plight. Damn
But I gotta stop weeping, gotta get my mind right
How can I do that when I lost my wife?
My never ending source of love and ended of strife. My life
My life will go on, that's a bet
Keep the faith like Tebow when he signed with the mets
Ball like Jason Kidd when he played for the Nets, ay, ay, ay
(Chorus)
Green grass, blue skies
No stress clouds white
Hold up, hold up hold up hold up
Green grass, blue skies
No stress clouds white
Take me back jake
(Verse 2)
What can I say? My heart lives on my sleeve
The lost love and joy? I'm Tryna retrieve
This is not the intro this is the reprise
Never one to beg but I always say please
(Monologue)
Yeah, when I went to Ireland in the summer of 2015 I was a walking heart emoji. Those skies went so perfectly with the bliss that I was living in. And I've learned a lot in the last two years and I'm starting to understand that things change, and that life isn't always green grass and blue skies. However, those green grass and blue skies will always be there... even when the things around them aren't the greatest. So while their blissful in joy, they're therapeutic in pain
(Chorus/outro from song)
Green grass, Blue skies
No stress, clouds white
Hate those goodbyes
Green grass, blue skies
No stress, clouds white
Keep faith, good vibes
Stream those vibes
Stream the good vibes

So, Like I said, I've learned a lot in the last two years. Things change and you go through experiences in life that will shape who you become. And this project is my expression of that. This project is what became of me from my pain, and from my shifting in life. And really, thank you guys so much for listening, if you made it this far. I really had the time of my life making this thing. I got some thank you's and some shoutouts. First and foremost, giant Rest In Peace to my uncle and godfather, Thomas Otto Plinzke. Love you BB. Rest in Peace Bknee. RIP. I still feel your love and inspiration everyday. I wanna give a very huge thank you to one of my best friends and producer, Jake Slater. I couldn't have done any of this without you buddy. Play those funky keys Jake. Thank you for laying the groundwork for my sound. Fire. Those studio sessions man. This all started with a brueggers meeting. I wanna give a huge shout out and thank you to my parents for raising me on good music and loving me unconditionally and supporting me fully. I love you guys. That goes for my step parents as well. I wanna give a special shoutout and thank you to my best friend Joe Holland and my sister Tricia plinzke. I love you guys, thanks for being there for me. Shoutout to all my really good friends all the people that believe in me. You guys know who you are. Sending me great vibes and good energy. Thanks haters. I want to say a special thank you to my mentors for helping me shape who I was as an artist and as a person. Never letting my ego get to big. Thanks law. Two take. Special shoutout to the Infamous scott blue. Studio sessions with you were inspirational and lit. Love your feature dude. Thank you so much for doing that for me. Thank you to my family anyone who likes the stuff tell your friends, KVN FX. I wanna give a shoutout to some of my biggest musical influences. Frank ocean, Childish Gambino 3 stacks, Chance the Rapper. You guys got me through some of my hardest times in life. Kanye west, Tears for Fears, Jellyfish, Amine. If you like what you heard on 22nd Century Consciousness (KVN FX) I'm also working on a mixtape called "CNMTC" produced by Sean Taylor. It's definitely a different side of my artistry, but if you like what you heard and you feel like checkin out something that's similar but different, ya know. Check it out, CNMTC. 22nd Century Consciousness baby. That's a wrap!
