Just The Beginning by Bradley Guwa Lyrics
- Imagine you was living in the moment of success
- Proving people that you could become be one of the best
- Forgetting the rest, but being the best at what you do
- So sit back and relax and let me tell my story to you
- It all started back in the summer of 2010
- Around that time I wrote my raps with my paper and pen
- Been dreaming of these moments ever since I was a little kid
- Sometimes I exaggerated half of the shit that I did
- Writing songs about money, chains and the fame
- Most of all I wrote about was making it into the game
- I'm talking about the rap one, most of all that one
- Wanting the fame and fortune to only dream that I could have some
- Inspired by rappers that came up before like Big Sean, Cole, Drake or Kendrick Lamar
- Those are the main rappers that made me want it more
- So I had to keep grinding in order to pay it off
- Eventually i got straight into it, been writing rap songs and uploading my music
- Trying to build a fan base in order to get exposure
- Surprisingly there was an audience starting to take notice
- But as much as I grew my confidence fell short
- It was my downfall, I tried to stand tall
- But That didn't stop the grind it led to frustration
- Was Desperate for the attention to eventually make it
- So I got back at it about three years later
- Seeing all these new rappers coming up with that paper
- It made me think would it be worth it if I took the chance
- So sick and tired of sitting back and wishing I had
- But now I’m back and I feel like I never left
- Building my craft and writing raps those were my steps
- Hoping one day they could lead me to making cheques
- I’m staying focused to becoming one of the best (so yes)
- But I guess it’s all up in my head
- I ain’t trying be the next rapper to make it and end up dead
- It’s just the facts, that’s what happens nowadays
- Cause you know once you make it everybody wants to get paid
- But I ain’t about that, I really ain’t about it
- Trying to figure out a way to get a way around it without it
- Happening I’m just gonna stick to rapping and
- Focusing on the mixing and of course the mastering till after then
- I’m focused on the goal, I lived the storied that I told
- Building my fanbase up, so you already know
- Been grinding since day one, so the story don’t get old
- Down the line i hope one day that I’ll be selling out my shows
- But I’m winning, you already know I’m winning
- Ain’t much believer, but lord knows if I’m sinning
- This ain’t the end but this this is just the beginning
- This ain’t the end cause this is just the beginning
- Proving people that you could become be one of the best
