Resurection Of The Friend by Bishop Grace From The Holy Land Lyrics
Christ, the power of God to raise His friends from the dead. You'll remember, there was a man in Palestine whose name was Lazarus. He had two sisters, his father and his mother were dead. They had no friend but Jesus. They were always glad— uh, gladly and ready to [?] for the Master. One time, while the Lord was down the road doing his miss— missionary work, that Lazarus fell asleep, and the call was made to the Master, "Come, comе, for our brother is dead." [?] when Hе came to the [?], he found a woman crying, crying because the only brother was dead and buried. But He calls for the other sister to come. When she came running, weeping, mourning, for the only brother was gone. Yet the loving Savior said "Where he is, my friend?" Said the woman, "Lord, by now he stinketh, for he have been in the grave for four days." Yet the Lord says "Woman, I am the resurrection and the life: he who believeth in me, though he's dead, yet he shall live." But the woman said "Lord, I know that my brother will come forth in the last day." But the Master said "No, for I am the resurrection and the life." And they took the Lord to [?] where Lazarus was laid for four days. And the Master stood on the stone that laid on the mouth of the grave. He put his mouth into the little window and called him by his name, because he was the Master's friend. Many dead in the graveyard, but none rose but the friend. When He said unto him "Lazarus, rise," and Lazarus rose. Then the Master, the friend of the dead, call on the servants, saying "Roll back the stone." And when they roll back the stone, Lazarus came out of the grave as said, then call on the Servants: "Loose the man, and let him go." We're also going to rise, because we are the friend of Jesus, and we have a hope to rise in the resurrection morning.
